About us

Sea Mere is a 300 acre farm in central Norfolk, UK.  It has at its heart a circular lake of 20 acres surrounded by ancient woodland which is designated a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI).

Sea Mere Gardens cover five acres and include a bog garden, herbaceous borders, ornamental vegetable garden, orchard, woodland gardens and terraced lawns leading to the mere.

Sea Mere Study Centre provides tuition in the Royal Horticulture Society Level 2 Certificate in Principles of Horticulture and Level 3 Certificate in Practical Horticulture. The Study Centre is an RHS approved centre for the provision of horticulture training.

Educational visits are welcome and funded under our Higher Level Environmental Stewardship Agreement.  We provide fun and informative instruction for children and adults who have an interest in natural history.

The Study Centre can be hired for private meetings.
